The Archives Partnership Trust was a innovative 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supported the New York State Archives through its Corporate Partners Program.

The State Archives bolsters economic development and cultural tourism by supporting local historical organizations located along heritage trails and sponsoring History Happened Here kiosks at NYS Thruway Travel Plazas.
The State Archives ensures government accountability and makes available information pertaining to legislation, policy and program development, fiscal and legal issues, and elections of government.
The State Archives helps businesses by providing information on economic development, natural resources, demographics, infrastructure, property boundaries and ownership, law, preservation, and public health trends.
The State Archives ensures that New York has an educated and competent workforce with educational grants and programs that reach all state school districts, public programs for life-long learners, and training programs for government and historical records managers.
The State Archives keeps history alive by caring for and making accessible over 130 million documents of state government from the 1600's through the present.
The State Archives invests in local communities by providing services to more than 4,300 local governments, over 4,000 schools, and over 3,000 community organizations.

Annual Corporate Partnerships

Conserve Native American Treaties
Match a prestigious "Save America's Treasures" federal grant to preserve and digitize a collection of New York Native American Treaties and Land Papers from 1642-1850.
Translate Latino/Hispanic Heritage Publications and Web Site
The Latino section of the New York State Archives web site and important publications are available only in English, often making them inaccessible to the audience for whom they were written.
Underwrite New York Archives, a 32-page, beautifully designed quarterly magazine for educators and a general audience. Magazines with the sponsor's imprint will be placed in legislators' offices, schools, libraries, senior or community centers.
Sponsor History Moments, an educational public television and State Archives series of 30-second segments about New York history.
Support the World Trade Center small business oral history project that will provide content for sound bites on the Internet, television and radio documentaries, educational programming, exhibitions, publications, and research.
Name a space in the Archives' new state-of-the-art electronic learning center that will impact over 200,000 educators, students, researchers, community archivists, records managers annually.
