Finding Aids for Records Available on Microfilm through Interlibrary Loan

Microfilm of the records listed below is available from the New York State Archives on interlibrary loan (ILL).  Requests must be made in writing by regular US Mail (no email requests) through a local library (no loans to individuals). To request an ILL, the local librarian should submit a standard interlibrary loan request to New York State Archives - ILL, Room 11A36 Cultural Education Center, Albany, NY 12230.

Be sure to provide the State Archives series number and the roll number(s) for film you wish to borrow.  The State Archives does not accept OCLC forms; the Archives is not part of the OCLC or the New York State Library interlibrary loan systems.

An ILL request may take one week or more to process after it is received from your library. Microfilm is loaned for approximately 4-6 weeks. There is no charge by the State Archives for postage, packaging, or handling.  For questions regarding interlibrary loan, contact the reference desk by phone at 518-474-8955.
